Congizant is a US headquartered company with large presence of Indians in India and USA. They have a large Europe presence.
Because of the large Indian presence it is often mistaken as and Indian company and the stocks are clubbed with Indian ADRs. On purely technical grounds this is incorrect.
However from stock market point of view we may mentally club it with Indian ADRs for comparison. |

Anyway, from a US investor point of view, it looks like it does not matter if it is an Indian ADR or not.
There however, looks like a great similarity in the way INFY and Congnizant are being traded.
Here is a comparison on Friday prices.
Price P/E Forward P/E
INFY 33.94 17.95 14.26
CNZT 27.27 23.65 15.15 |

| Cognizant is not a ADR, it's a chennai based software giant. Which was the first indian software firm to listed in NYSE. Since then it never looked backed. It is not USA company. |
