The Defense and Government segment designs and manufactures defense and government products and related systems, including light attack and training aircrafts, ground attack jets, and intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance special mission aircrafts. The Executive Aviation segment develops and markets executive jets for the fractional ownership companies, charter and air-taxi companies, and high net-worth individuals. The Customer Services and Others segment provides after-sales customer support services, including field support, spare parts sales and distribution, product warranty and repair administration, engineering support, maintenance engineering, technical publications, and training. This segment also offers aircraft operating leases, as well as manufactures and markets spare parts. EMBRAER also provides structural components, and mechanical and hydraulic systems for the production of helicopters, as well as engages in technical activities related to the production and maintenance of aerospace material. In addition, it manufactures general aviation propeller aircraft, such as executive jets and crop dusters, as well as offers subcontracting services in connection with the development and manufacture of the landing gear, fuel systems, and fuel tanks for the S-92 Helibus helicopters. It sells its products in the United States, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. The company has a strategic alliance with European Aerospace and Defense Group. EMBRAER, formerly known as Rio Han Empreendimentos e Participa??es S.A., was founded in 1969 and is headquartered in S?o Jos? dos Campos, Brazil.
